The 10yr old road boots needed a resole job, so I took them to "Quality Shoe Repairs" in Victoria St. ( can not bare to give up on this boots, sentimental coot). Asked the boot man about the best care for them. I think he's Dutch, so will know how to stretch a good thing.
This is what he recommends. Jay-el bees wax dressing. $9.95.
Applied it,let it soak in, buffed, and ran it under a tap. Water buggers off like a scared watery thing.
Sole repair $65.
