Thanks, suppose final positions will be posted somewhere? Lost track of how many times I lapped the TZR & RG50, presumably I must have been out for longer than I thought or there was another F5 bike. Don't really care, was a fun day, just a pity the F4 bike went clack, if I get motivated I'll pull it apart.

An amusing thing happened in the last race. My tip of the gearlever stated to rattle out, spring went west in the warm up lap. So on the startline I pushed the pin back thinking that'll never stay there & I had some ducttape on the triple reminding me of gearing & I stuck that over it & it lasted.

I best start making a list.

yep, we'll get to it shortly... it will involve a video, a few people, pens & paper and LOTS of alcohol to sit thru the race several times
    any volunteers?

Ahh look don't bother on my account, the main thing is we all had a good time, I've gotten enough swag & certificates over the years it would be nice if one of the kids won something.

Cool by me, competitors always think the results should be posted by the time they get their helmet off but don't realise what a hard time it is sorting it all out when there are so many people & silly things happen like people crash or come into the pits or whatever. Whatdayamean ya didn't see me? I was brilliant etc etc. Sure you were.

Love that last corner of the sweeper & up & over the connection road. Had it fully pinned at the end. Earlier in the day was a bit concerned that I'd miss the exit on landing & fire off on the grass. I hear someone did that huh?

Be nice if there was a traffic cone or something put on the RHS just so you can judge where the edge of the track is, would make passing safer.

    Still buzzing, great day.

So how many F5 entries were there? That white TZR50 and black RG50 #10 were barely faster than me, and I'm farkin slow! Theres no way they finished ahead of F5Dave even if he lost a couple of laps.

I think I lapped #10 once maybe... but I was passed by Dave at least twice. Reckon I was 7th to last overall.

    F5 Result

There was a group sitting next to me who were following the F5 race carefully.
I think there was Avalon on the CB 100, F5 dave on the screamer, Eric and the TZ and James on the Rg 50. That was all.
At first it was F5 Dave cleaning up with Avalon second, but Avalon pitted for a long time and went right back to last and F5 Dave pitted also, not for so long but definitely lost the placing and finished between James and Eric.
Forget this patronising "give it to the youngsters", they earned it fair and square. Just as Nick (!3 years old) got second in F4, Alistair (14) fourth. Congrats you little guys, well done.

OK, finally got my shit sorted, my arms moving and my legs bending again...

First: Dangerous - fuckin awesome day! Never enjoyed pain so much (well, in public anyway). Thank you and Rashika for your hospitality. Sorry we didn't leave anything but the odour. Will make it up to you if you're ever this way.

Next: I've put all the photos Leigh (Skunk Control) took on my server and will start removing the shit ones over the next week. Get in quick if you want to see everything; wait if you don't want to trawl through nearly 300 photos... Here's the link Skunk Controls snaps

Last: When's the next one? And what are house prices like down there?

Didn't realise you had left the track or that Avalon had. Good luck to the video watcher/lap scorers...
