    Arrow tank bag/panniers wanted...

An outside shot, but before I go spending cash I don't got on some new ones, does anyone have either or both of the above sitting around gathering dust when they could be adorning my beloved? Will give you real money (and maybe some of those nice chocolate buttons, too).
    Don't be shy...

    A suggestion

Don't have any tankbags, but, if you tie two plastic shopping bags, one to each handle bar end, they balance out and work quite well

So, will they help with the balance overall when I do that easy, failsafe headstand/stoppie manoever that you explained to me how to do?
Also, I've forgotten what kind of lube to use on my wheels...

PM XJ/Frosty and see if he still has his two tank bags for sale.

Oxford's cheapest series of luggage is really good and cheap compared to most other brands. I've got the tankbag, expandable panniers, and tailpack, and they are rugged and capacious. All up the set cost me $300 new.

    Thumbs up

    Cheers, Jim-

I'll do just that. Had a look at those Oxfords today, as it happens; probably the way to go if nothing cheaper available... (well, I am Scottish!)

I did a bit of touring on my last bike & had a set of Givi hard luggage. Costs a bit but nothing moves around & it stays dry...plus you can mount it on you next bike.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy

Yeah, was wondering that too, hope you’ve made a full recovery.

I’ve just replaced my tankbag & panniers as I wanted a bit bigger/they were getting shabby. They aren’t flash but are serviceable; I’ll drag them out if you want a guernsey. I work in the currency foodstuffs or alcohol.

Hmm, ok they are a bit shabby, the panniers are fixed up after they jumped off at about 240 (on a closed cct of course).

The tankbag has some stitching that probably could do with fixing & looks a bit grey but has magnets attached as a retrofit. Both have had chunky storm zips fitted.

Forgot to ask if you were a student or waged.

Looking at the tankbag you may not want something so ugly, but it has been v.serviceable over the last 16 years.

    Talking

    Hey Dave-

sorry, didn't see there had been more on this thread!
Those look great (although XJ was going to send me an old tank bag; he may not get time, though, considering what's been happening with him of late...) and I'd be delighted if you could spare them. Alcohol is certainly a fine form of currency and can be arranged. I am waged.. although at a somewhat laughable rate. Can still afford to buy you some decent booze though... name your poison!

ok if you want them both a dozen Becks will do fine.

If you pass on them or if XJs shows up then I'll pass them Blakamin's way as I figure there might be some offsetting going on next year when Im trying to organise some sounds for the upcoming wedding (depending on venue which isn't sorted yet).
