Short Notice Ride 18th July 2007

Well the sun is shining, I have the day off and I will be going for a wee blat on the bike - pace will be medium coz that's as fast as I can go!

I'll be at BP Botany (corner of Ti Rakau and Chapel Road) from 10:30-10:45am.

I have a couple of destinations in mind and if anyone else turns up I am open to discussion.

For all of you at work today....Muwahahahahaha!

Well - what a digression this has been.

Conversation has turned a bit, well, anal for want of a better expression.

So - ride (on the bike!) today - any takers?

Well what a lovely day that turned out to be. Went off to Hunua, then into Papakura, along to Waiuku and then up the Awhitu peninsula.

Had a lovely (but lonely) time - roads were great - very little loose material. There was the odd damp corner here and there but apart from that it was perfect.

Found Terbang in my rear view mirror while I was coming into Waiuku on the way home and had a quick chat while I topped up the fuel.

Took a couple of photies when I stopped so you can see what y'all missed!

I was heading south towards the Whitford golf course , you were behind a couple of cars and a red truck , Was to late to wave out to ya I was in a gray Toyota hilux (it was probably belching out thick clouds of smoke from it`s inner workings).
