I'd use a Tesla Coil to zap tanks invading my bases.

You need to get out more man......
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

    Oh I should've added:
Future weapon: The Marines miniguns in Alien
Zen wisdom: No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too seriously. - obviously had KB in mind when he came up with that gem

    hmmm.. liberal interpretation time
Ancient weapon: An army, sort of a roman legion style thing.
Modern: A rack of orbiting nukes ready to be launched down anywhere.
Future: I would like an Imperial retribution class battleship, equipped with these

Well if you're going to be like that ... give me a gromril dwarf axe and failing that one of those Runefangs.

    For the modern, FAE

And instead of an Imperial Guard Class Battleship, I'll take one of those Deathstars (just gotta keep little one man fighter planes away from it! )

But a Terminator suit will do me just fine... or a Dreadnought

(And yeah, only 40K/Fantasy players of Warhammer will know these! )

Medievil - the English longbow. Pretty much the greatest weapon of its day, no army had an answer to the English longbow archers. For a few hundred years (until one man firearms came around) the English owned the battlefield almost chiefly because of their much feared archers. The French had the crossbow... but had no answer.

Modern? Hmm. Not too sure I'd worry about modern weapons... but if I were do I'd quite like it to be some kind of air superiority fighter. A Harrier would be awesome if purely for the wank factor of taking off and landing without a sodding runway!
