    Is it the winter?

Or are we all manically depressive at the moment. Please, this is NOT a dig at anyone, but we do all seem to be a wee bit negative with our threads at the moment.

I myself suffer form a mild case of ALMS (Angry little man syndrome), but it seems that we need to be a bit more positive in our outlook. So have a nice day everyone, and remember life's just too short to be a grumpy bastard all the time.

My firs response was going to be "Fuck off!!"
But that's not very nice, so I won't say that.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I don't see any manic depressive type threads on KB. It seems a pretty positive place actually.

What I do see is people trusting their friends and asking for help. And getting the help asked for. That's what your friends are for.

There is not enough of this in the world. If it makes you uncomfortable, vote with your mouse - don't click on the thread!

    Go look at the kittens.

Or even better since you are a bloke, boobies. Voila.

I should red rep you for not putting a "Not Vifferman Safe" warning on that!

    Winter?
I've just been sitting in the sun on the deck looking at a mirror flat Manukau harbour. You see me whinging?

Mind you, one of the puppies pissed on my foot, so it wasn't quite perfect.

Anyone want a slightly used miniature schnauzer puppy?

You've got a point tho Pwalo, the solution's probably to go for a ride.

I should red rep you. Too scared to look at work with our ever-vigilant company monitoring system and now have to wait 6 hours to have a look at home. Mind you, the domestic monitoring system will probably end up with dinner on my head or an eating utensil lodged in my eye Sigh...

What this site needs is a new GSXR1000, Fireblade, BMW, Hayabusa to slag off about...you know, bike stuff.

Just reckon that if you've got some probs in life you're best talking about them with real people face to face...bit dangerous getting life/relationship advice on a forum.

Agree with the first part bigtime.
As for the second part, sometimes it helps to just get things of your cheast an sure, you'll get replies and advice but it's up to you whether you take that advice.
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

Well yeah, but thats what mates are for. I know, I have lots of mates on here too but I'm not going to air my dirty laundry on a forum. Wonder why we get serial threads (it seems) that start with "I read the thread about blah blah that made me think of my own marriage/relationship/parents" etc?

Maybe these threads of lament are a little more obvious as theres little else to talk about on KB these days?

I've been out on farms and it was a gorgeous morning (despite the forecast of rain, it was sunny and warm) so I was feeling quite upbeat. Then I got two emails from Massey, recalling three of the four bloody textbooks I need for my two papers. One of the assignments deals indepth with the readings from one book so I'm stuffed as no one has it in stock and even if I order it from Amazon, it's not going to be here in time. So at the moment I am a bit pissed off!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

    Hmmmm.

Ah well. And now I'm about to make it worse by showing everyone your little secret . . .

Not at all. Sometimes it's difficult for people to start a conversation face to face with "well, heres the problem" Remember that if you are suffering from a deep depression then your feeling of self worth is at an all time low. You don't want to burden your friends with yourself or your problems. Sometimes a forum is a safer bet. It's a lot easier to sort the good responses from the bad and take something positive from them.
