    Eager Beaver on the loose.

:spudwave: New to the forum, new to the bikes. Started learning on back in the UK a few years ago on my Honda CG125 - with its top speed of 80kph downhill. Never got the full licence - am hoping to do so now I'm in NZ. Been browsing web to get an idea of what sort of bike I want, hubby (superslug) reckons I should go with a trusty GN250 - me, I'd prefer an Aprilia...but the likelihood is slim....!

Had a peek around the forum, and you guys don't seem like a bad bunch. But call me blonde - I just don't get all the 'croissant' comments.

    ... nor do I...

Welcome aboard! Tis a good place to be, take it slow, get to know the people, don't worry about the ocassional outburst from one or two and you'll be fine.

Oh yeah - be aware of the hyperabundance of men that will want to know you. It fades in time...

$2,000 cash if you find a buyer for my house, kumeuhouseforsale@straightshooters.co.nz for details

You're on! I love Buzz. Find it's easier (well, at least more entertaining!) when fuelled by several doses of alcohol.

And, yes, see ya at the tuppaware party. Thanks for inviting me.

I am sure Nasty called him 'superstud' on Sunday when we met. Must have been a slip of the tounge

Nothing wrong with the GN as a learner bike, we had one for a while. It's great for slowly building up the confidence.

    Welcome to the site.

    Welcome Beaver.
Little Ginnys/Voltys/Viragos etc are all good learning bikes. You will move on from your two fiddy quickly, so don't spend too much, and save the pennies for that nice Aprilia.
