It can be scary how this stuff can get out of control. I heard that a colleague was concerned about me coming to work stoned after she smelt pot on me one morning. This rumour got back to me via a concerned friend that thought I should know what was circulating. I managed to have a conversation with the person concerned and clarified that yes she did smell pot more than once as I walked in the back door. If she had gone out the back door she would have seen the smoke pouring out of the neighbors shed as he had his morning pain relief. As far as she was concerned it was a simple misunderstanding and was appropriately embarassed. She has endevoured to put as many people straight as possible, but who knows what it has evolved into by now? A potential career destroyer for me, I can't do my job tired let alone intoxicated.
