I was confused too. I've only ever heard the term used to refer to restoration or customisation of cars. It used to be the practice to use lead as filler to smoothe out imperfections or hide repairs in steel panels. A car treated in such a way would be referred to as a "lead sled".

Odd, but I never picked up any negative association; it seemed that being a "lead sled" was superior to being a "bondo wagon".

I get great results from my chiro.

Unforunately with these random types of problems, one treatment may work, one may do nothing. Thats certainly not to say that one of those professions is crap, it just doesn't work for you...

    i need one!

Get into one of those back street massage parlours, they're great.

You just lie on your back naked and some asian chick kinda sucks the pain outta ya.

Not that cheap mind, but does the job really well.

And i'm 21 and wouldn't mind having one of those "road sofas!" Nothing like travelling in comfort! I've spent too many hours on a GN doing a top speed of 80kmh to get from Christchurch to Invercargill and from Christchurch to Picton!

Then again I was quite happy to push bike from Christchurch to Kaikoura. Would have made it to Blenhiem as well if my knee didn't blow out.

You might want to look at going to a physiotherapist over a chiropracter. There are doubts on the effectiveness of such treatment and anything that plays around with your spine should be looked at with utmost care.

Have a read through this if you have time, I found it pretty interesting.
