There's plenty of Humble Opinion around here about osteos vs chiros vs alternatives -- plenty of cramped riding positions and old injuries to cope with. My HO, for what it's worth, is to go for osteo, not chiro, but like a lot of folks I only have experience on one or two practitioners.
The last chiro I went to see wasn't one I'd recommend. Osteo's more massage and gentle manipulation, up to and including the back-cracking. I've experienced less violence on a dojo floor than I did at the last chiropractor I went to, and there's a real possibility that I sustained more damage than repair. I wasn't even allowed to fight back.
Just my 2c.

Don't forget to add acupuncture to your list of possibles. My husband has had ten years of crippling back pain pretty much fixed after going to one. Osteo and chiro didn't work at all.
He has crushed disks in the lower back from getting squashed by a trailor many moons ago, and the acupuncture has brought him back to nearly normal pain and movement levels. Quite spectacular!! Best way to find a good one is through word of mouth though - like any doctor type person there are some pretty average ones out there.
Hope you unbend yourself soon . . .
