good time to say that the weather looks like crap on sunday lol
I'll be doing legal speeds, but will be twisting the crap out of my throttle out of corners and from stops. I suspect I'll be tailing the fast guys but leading the slow guys.
And somewhere... a little L plate waits...
"I like to ride anyplace, anywhere, any time, any way!"
So.... honestly where and at what time will this ride begin?
I am REALLY interested in this ride since some GNs are comming along
P.S. According to http://www.metservice.co.nz/default/...alias=auckland weather, Sunday looks preety bad... Is it still on?
If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
probably the usual KB meetin places
if the ride is heading east towards hunua, meet at BP Botany
if the ride is heading north towards warkworth, meet at BP Dairy Flat
if the ride is heading south towards hamilton, meet at BP Autobahn Papakura
if the ride is heading west towards kumeu, meet at Shell Westgate
but mav hasnt made a decision on it yet?? no idea which way we're heading

Hi Guys, put this at the Thread Header but re printing it here, Hope it clarifies any confusion, Mav
UPDATE: A few people have asked "how learner friendly is learner friendly"
A few general guide lines that we suggest are: (in descending importance)
1) You be comfortable riding your bike in a variety of everyday traffic situations.
2) You have a full set of protective gear. You learn by experimenting, sometimes people push too far, Good gear can make the difference between getting up and riding on and calling an ambulance.
3) You are confident and comfortable with your bike and could theoretically ride comfortably at 100kph if the situation required you to do so (not advocating breeching license conditions, simply illustrating confidence and skill levels that would be safe for open road riding).
4) You know how to use engine braking to help slow your bike before entering corners
5) You have ridden on wet roads and in the rain before.
