Its for a couple of reasons,
    1) it gives us as the organisers an indication of the number of people likely to attend and the skill level of those riders, that allows us to plan a suitable route.
    2) It allows you to see who else is interested in coming on the ride, to catch up with people you havent seen for a while or who you havent had the chance to meet yet,
    3) there have been instances in the past of ride details being posted up and having police receptions waiting along the route. While these 250 rides are at a slow pace and dont break the law it makes some people more comfortable not having the details broadcast to anyone who can read the site.

I've never heard of people referring to the RS250 as piddly.

I might be keen to come along and bring up the rear of the group...or lead the front...depends on who turns up on the day I suppose
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.

Maverick doesn't like posting the start or destination of his rides on account of his belief that some riders won't come at all if it's posted coz the Police will turn up to trap us into doing 71kph with our L plates on.

I think we need a vote.

Might do this when I get home.

All those who want to know in advance and PUBLICLY where the ride starts from and finishes.

All those who would rather know in a clandestine fashion.

I think Maverick will get a surprise.

Yeah that's all good, I couldn't care less about how far the ride is or where we are going, all I want to know is the rally point and time
