Hmm I'll have to have a looksee at that bmz2, sounds like it will have upped the decibel rating a heap? Just make sure those cap screws are tight when you have em in, or it could be a rear facing machine gun when you "gun it"

I can't make the ride this Sat, but will be keen for an update on how those pipe mods go. Will be interesting to see what open road reverb is like in your helmet too. My old VTR had pipes so loud they did my head in.

you cannot tell how load the pipes are when you are riding it because the the are well behind you, but my helmet is rated at 98db so i can't hear very much anyway

Nah, the reason you cant hear your pipes is because when you break the sound barrier it never catches up with you, if you turn around and ride flat out the other way you should hear what it sounded like 5 minutes ago

I have been tied up with home commitments. Will get out as often and as soon as I can. More able to manage short 1 to 2 hour rides, but not much more at the moment. I am on leave for the next week, so will try a few rides in spare time.

FYI, Looks like y'all wont get the chance to ride with me on the VMax, when I get it fixed gain I'm getting rid of it for something newer/more reliable and not a cruiser.
