Yep, bad day for a ride .... unless a nuclear effect in the troposphere suddenly dispels the storm front, looks like I'll be doing more spannering in the carport on Sunday and catching Maverick's ride next weekend bye -bye ride!

Of course... plans are flexible and we'll see how it all pans out first! (now where does Maverick keep that weather-genie(TM) )

I think it was just 'cause we ended up in Dargaville after doing the Brydnwyns and I felt the need to keep going after Ruawai!
You failed to mention the SEVERE WIND WARNING placed smack bang over that high ridge line we were riding on.

I still haven't felt wind like that since!

You mean you didn't ride over the harbour bridge several weeks ago?

And you handled it...thus making you capable of riding in "SEVERE WINDS" ... heck that ain't nuffink! I once rode around a corner without doing anything because the wind was so severe it just did it for me!

And oh yeah... I think the phrase is take some HTFU pills! Either that ... or ride a naked bike!

All aside, you handled the jandal well - so when are you coming out on another "pootle" with me?

I was thinking of a Learner friendly pootle on Saturday - probably only about 200km all up - I'll be acting as meat shield in a cage (TEC) with my children and will let Chickadee (my wife) get some kms on her angry little 2 smoker.

What would people prefer? Early morning, late morning or early afternoon?

Shame the weather looks piss poor for Sunday Justin. I know you have commitments (great DVD can I borrow it?...tat's shoite!) but if you could get away for a wee while it would be good to see you out on t'road.

Maverick says he may or may not bring his weather genie...it depends on whether or not he gets laid the night before.......don't all look at me in that accusatory manner thanks very much - he's not my type (never owned a Honda).

Will speak to SWMBO when I get home and will log bnack in to see if there's any interest.

This will not be a balls out 'how big is my penis' 250 race - it will be a learner friendly pootle at legal speeds along some quiet country roads. Big bikes are welcome so long as they appreciate this is for the newer riders.
