ZXR400s have 17 inchers as stock.They have very good ground clearance as stock -TS had his zorst liftin the rear on his before the pegs were decked.Total loss is a waste of time and effort for the small HP gain.Verses the starting issues ayou will encounter.HOW THE FUCK are you gonna dyno tune a bike with ram air you idiot.
Westy my advice based on a couple of seasons racing zxr400's
Do the shocks n brakes. Give the engine a birthday-Oil Filter, do the shims,do sort out the rev limiter
Fit a set of crash bungs and if the fairings mint yea get a glass fairing
I'd also read the -"Wanna go racing ?" thread and get a spare set of levers -they are the first bit to break in an off.
Go do a couple of trackdays then maybee do the last round of the Vic club series in Clubmans 2 so you aint under any pressure.
I totally agree with young Tim.Ride till the bike is the slowing factor then decide what you're gonna do
