    Nice work.
Owned a GS-G back in the 80's good to see such a nice example of one.
Damn strong bike. Surprised a few GSX riders with it's torque.

    Thanks for your comments guys

Someone blinged me and asked for blow by blow details of the chore... It'd take a damn sight longer than installing the seat skin to do so. So I have attached a PDF link from BikeCliff (of GS Resources fame) who has a lot more dedication to the cause than any other biker I have meet or seen (which is where I learned how to do my bike maintenance)
    http://www.dslextreme.com/users/bike...eplacement.pdf

Also a link to his personal website which is chocka full of incredibly useful information about the Suzuki GS models of bikes (much of which will provide valuable insight into the basics of maintenance of most makes of older generation bikes).

    Edit.. new addy

The man is a true bikers hero

This forum could learn a lot from the GSR forum ... no crappy trolling, pointless drivel or joke threads etc... it just ain't what that forum is about... just a little bit of good friendly banter and hard out technical type threads for people who need and want to learn about their motorcycles and how to maintain them.
Check it out. It isn't a interwobble sandpit for the idle

PS.. b4 all the PKB's start I would point out that forums attract the behavior that they are geared to. You won't catch me behaving badly there.. K!

Edit.. link to the dude I bought the cover off

That's not entirely fair, that's typical of one make/model forums, less so of public discussion ones. The svportal is exactly the same as KB as far as look n feel goes (it's spankme site too), but nothing like it in terms of content. YMMV.
