    Just saying Hi!! (captain_andrey)

My Name is Andrey and I just got my learners yesterday!!
I will be getting a new bike by the end of august. It will be a Hyosung GT250R, I am 192cm tall and I need the extra large frame that the GT250R has (oh and it looks amazing).
Looked at one in TSS in lower hutt (the guy in there was the best sales person i have ever talked to) and I'm hooked. Just have to pick between yellow and black now.
Didn't get a chance to testride one yet, but I'm not confident enough yet. When i sat on it, it felt so much heavier than the little 100cc honda that i did my basic handling test on. Its actually kinda scary.
I know its going to be extra hard for me to learn since I dont even drive a car. I have driven a manual twice in my life before so no experience with clutch really. The 100cc bike was very easy to ride, it felt almost like a pedal bike and i have lots of mountain biking experience.
Yeah, dont know what else to say other then I hope to start riding soon and see you guys around on the roads.

    Ride Safe
    Andrey

Hey captain ... great to see you got something to celebrate first off ... yay to passing your learners ... black bikes are boring ... but everyone has their own opinion on that one ... hopefully we can get ya skilled up a little to come on some smaller rides ...

Don't live far from you if you need anything.

    Welcome aboard!!

Black may be boring, but it's better... Suzuki's are yellow, and their frames are weak...

The Hyosung will feel heavier than a 'little honda 100cc' for the simple reason that it is... but once you're moving, a slightly heavier bike will feel a lot more stable than a 'little honda 100cc'... good luck out there man, and I'm sure you'll be doing well in no time

Welcome in Andrey...the GT250R looks good in Yellow, you will love with a day or two of owning it. Keep an eye of rides down your way, seems to always be something happening in Wellytown with the local KBers, good luck.

[QUOTE=Nasty;1144178]... black bikes are boring ...

    .

Boring my arse, black is beautiful.

I had to get a black " Blackbird ", any other colour just didn't seem right (and it was the only one i could afford )
