Who are you calling minor, do you even have a web presence? Your gear looks cool, but without the reassurance that your stuff is the real deal and that you'll back it up then there's no way I'll buy anything.

You say you're aware of unfair "inaccurate comments" people are/will be spreading, so what has your organisation done to counter this? Have you realeased any documentation, etc?

From a perspective buyer of gear,when the seller of bike or snow gear I buy from answers my questions with factual answers and points out the overlocked sideseams,double stitched and fused for waterproof,and doesn't try to bullshit me into buying the more expensive item I'll probably purchase.

Quality counts with me,cheapest can be false economy in long run,I can't comment on items I've not seen.If you can see items in shops,no worries,but off websites it can be dicey.Also if you need to return for resize the courier costs can mount up,mind you the upshot can be lower overheads and that can be passed on to buyer.

i got sum leather pants ,moshin styles,really happy with quality ...leather is nice in thick for those rubbing on the seal experiences,which will happn i guess as i tend to like to speed....hehehe.
Darrens trade me feed back speaks for its self though.

Yes it is good stuff no doubt. Rode in 3 hrs of rain today and Im dry as a bone. Excellent!

I notice in an earlier post Raj you said you wear one over your Leathers, just wondering what the waterproofing is like on it's own? (and which one you got).

I've got my Quasi Leathers for riding but for commuting the Leathers make a mess of my Uniform! Looking to pickup something cheap and waterproof of tardme. Not worried if the CE isn't up to scratch as I'll get some Knox gear. So long it has some road burn protection and keeps me dry!

Yea I have a 'Mohsin' cordura touring jacket (blue because he didnt have blek). Its great for wet riding. I ride 25 ks to work each way everyday and on occasion the skies are merciless. Pretty good in the wet but not for more than an hour, then water slowly starts seeping through. My $280 gloves give first though. Oh and its got excellent wind protection too, nice and warm , well relatively speaking.

Cheers mate, sounds like they'll do the job. My commute takes about half an hour each way, but I resort to the cage when the skies really open up! I've been wearing a thin snowboard jacket over the leathers recently, but water always gets in, and the boss doesn't look to happy when I appear to have slept in my shirt

Will keep an eye on their $1 reserves now...

Have got a very pretty textile red moshin jacket for my daughter and everything else (three riders) is "DriRider". The DriRider is much warmer than the Moshin jacket. The moshin is really just a fine-weather jacket. I though the moshin amour was better than the dririder.

Sorry Quasi, I haven't tried any of your gear. It looks good though.

If you import a Alpinestar suit yes great quality no problems there, but you do pay a margin for the name also.

Am i right in thinking then Quassi that you have R&D like A*'s ?!

i'd be inclined to think the price of named gear is of a higher price because its had the input from top riders over the years, as well as years of R&D and hours and hours of Q&A...?!


I'm gonna be a wanker here and ask... how has your stuff been tested ( other than the local market ?) Knowing the answer i'm then inclined to say... but you still charge TOP brand prices...??!

I have a Mohsin Cordura touring jacket of TM, and I believe it is well made and every bit as good as the middle of the road European jacket from the bike shop I had previously.
Darren was very helpfull, service was good and shipping very fast....(Paid $135 for the jacket, plus shipping).......
