I'm gonna be a wanker here and ask... how has your stuff been tested ( other than the local market ?) Knowing the answer i'm then inclined to say... but you still charge TOP brand prices...??!

Well I've been wondering about Alpinestars R&D since I saw the replacement for my TZ-1 jacket. The new TX-1 with its girly pockets had to be designed by a chick or homo.

    Fishing mate ? surprised I am !

Well we can read alot into that Mr Boomer, seems you want us to justify ourselves and even defend ourselves on a Mohsin thread WTF?

Yes we have a 5 story R&D department in Italy that employs 500 people and a huge marketing department, and also have 50% of GP riders in our gear also. Sheeeeeeeeeesh did you get out of bed the wrong side mate?

Yeah top prices whatever!!, go and buy a A-star custom suit for $1595 you wont $4k maybe,
I guess thats why We still both work because we are so loaded !

And prices reflect a return on investment and the market price for similair quality, 101 marketing.

You dont wear our gear and you prolly wont, so whats your point and what are you trying to achieve exactly?

Get some stuff off Quasi. Its tried and proven.
Plus he actually rides himself. The shit you get off tard me are from people who dont even ride... (im guessing anyway)
I have a full set of Leathers from Quasi, and will continue to buy from him. Great gear, great price and awsome support

The only reason I'm looking at Tardme gear is because I'm after some cheap waterproof commuter gear which wont crinkle my shirt like the Leathers do and Moshin puts stuff up at $1 reserve

I got a mohsin textile jacket for cheap since no one bidded on the $1 reserve but have not tried the other jackets from Mohsin. Appearence wise the Mohsin is ok single stitching and after wearing it for a year the stitching is coming lose. The armour is average which I suggest that it needs to be changed after you buy one.

Quasi's jackets in my opinion is better and I feel alot safer in it double stitching, thicker leather etc...

Hiya, we have a minimium specification of triple stitching (high quality and expensive threads) on Road gear and a spec of Quadriple stitching on Race suits.
We invest alot of time into our spec and are continuously making all specs better than before.

Hey Quasi, I'm definitely a satisfied customer of your gear, however in terms of a textile waterproof jacket for commuting your jacket appears a bit short. To give an idea the Jacket I've been looking at is http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=163849519

Reason being, it's longer at the back so there wont be any gap between my pants and the jacket for water to leak through.

If you do have something similar, and not in Black then I would definitely buy from you over Tardme.

    hi Dakara.
We didnt bring in a range of Textile gear this year, we are developing one on the same spec that we provided to the New Zealand Army, but we arent ready to bring it to the general market yet.

    Cheers

    Wee, wee, mi amigo.

Wee wee always sounds so weird when you say it. It's like a big guy drinking threw a straw, it just looks, well, weird.

hmmmm, my jacket is ok but my pants split when my mate borrowed them, they were a bit snug, he hoped on his bike and they tore from the stretch......

Did mean carpe diem/as seize the day(buy the goods now not next week) but in the end be aware of the goods you purchase, was thinking about what I was going to write, but then lost my train of thought.
