    Ching's Report on Tokaanu Meet...

    Hi folks,

Well I finished work right on 2pm. Got home and fu&%ed around trying to find my wets. By the time I bagged myself up twas 2:35pm at which time I hit the road. My intention was to chance a meet with some of the Wellington Crew shooting thru Waiouru. Instead I passed them heading north three quarters of the way. Was courteous and waved, then carried on to Waiouru to sample those delicious, soggy toasted sandwiches you see in the BP warmer. Washed it down with orange fizzy then hit the road back to meet a few of the riders at the Tokaanu Oasis.
Pulled in at about 4:50pm, and lo and behold just about all the units have definitely been booked out and were filling fast. Said hello to CeltciSeaLily, Jazbug, Cajun and Quasi. I sense a good feeling of comaraderie here moreso due to the shit weather.
Wanna hear something funny. When I rode down to the furtherest back units to do a relaxed U turn what do I see? Two more Alstare Coronas parked up. Haha, good on ya Suzuki. Exclusive model my ASS!!

Will take the digital camera tonight and take some pics to show you all what Kiwibikers get up to once the sun goes down.

    Update...

    Hi folks,

Well its 10:15pm and I just got back. Was real good to put faces to the handles. I'm afraid I didn't take many pictures... Fu&k all actually but enjoyed talking to a few of the people there and listening to them. The prize draw was the main card of the night which saw some awesome prizes donated by Wellington Motorcycles (thanks White Trash and Co) and Nationwide Accessories.
A few that I met tonight:-

Quasi, White Trash, Zapf, FZeroZero, Eric, Firefight, Hooks, Deano, Motoracer, Jazbug, PoshTourer and a few others (apologies if I left you out). Thanks Quasi for organising this event. You da man.

    Pics:-

No 1: Cath ala CelticSeaLily getting her prize
No 2: Eric scoring a pair of boots
    No 3: Motoracer and Co
No 4: Zapf and FZeroZero (good talking to you guys)
No 5: Compere and organiser Quasi doing the draw
