I'm implying that you might be being ever so slightly preachy.

Oh ok thanks maybe I am If there is such a word as "preachy". But I more think of it as placing some ground rules Im not saying dont race on my ride cos its evil I'm just saying that those going to or who feel like racing during this ride arn't welcome.

Errmm, I think you should be ok mate?
I think Zrxer means keep your knees onboard so no knee sliding at 170kmh around the corners, no long wheelies between corners, staying in your own lane unless overtaking and when overtaking try and keep it under 300kmh.
Also no overtaking on blind corners either cos that can be a bit dicy on the public roads.

Cos it's August there'll be damp corners, green corners, corners with chuck on them and perhaps the odd patch of diesel or oil, non of which adds up to a good race track.

So, I think if we all stay under 300kmh, keep both wheels on the ground as much as possible, get off and push our bikes around the dampish corners etc, we should all be ok and get home in one piece.

Common Kiwifruit, surely you can manage that for a few hours eh?

Sounds more and more like I'll be able to keep up on this ride for once.

Oii!! We can pretend it's a race. I can do that just for you if you want? I'm sure DMNTD can do the same as well??

Just pull two plug leads and we'll give the bikes stick the whole time.

No we cant fuckin pretend its a race, let me make it plain so far I have 21 riders registerd for this "RIDE" so there is a good chance that at least another 10 or so riders will register before the 18th, now that is a biggish group so there will be no racing or pretending to race anyone who is not happy with that is more than welcome not to come along the end.

Beyond sulks quietly in the corner with a quivering lower lip and box of tissues at the ready

You know me mate, I barely ever scrape the pegs anymore and haven't worn a set of feeler bolts since last year.
