back to the topic at hand.... below is an email I received about PMCC series this year... updates to come as i get them....

Due to being unable to get an adequate lap scoring system for this event, we will be running the Sept meeting as a "Track Day". Details of this are presently being determined by others within the club and once finalised (soon I hope) we will let you know.

We intend running the other three dates we have as a Three Round Pacific Series. Have sorted the classes and practice/race order on the day as follows.
    1 F1 & F2 (split starts with approx 30sec between F1 & F2)
    2 Post Classic/Classic/Street Stock 150/250
3 Super Motard up to 450cc
    4 Pro Twin/F3/125GP
5 Super Motard Open (up to 450cc & over 450cc
    6 Clubman's

One Practice of approx 8 mins per class as per above race order
Two races of 10 laps each per class as per above race order

Entry will be by prepaid postal entry ONLY. Class fields shall be filled on a first in/first on basis.

These changes have been principally brought about by MNZ Rule changes excluding SM from F3, the introduction of the Pro twins class and time constraints imposed by the reduced circuit open/close times.

Full details will be forwarded when properly sorted.

    Regards,

    Brian Morgan

Not at all after only my second time on the A1 track and with gear box problems i was doing 1.44s so 1.40s is exactly what F3 bikes would be doing and the likes of glen williams will probably be doing 1.36s??

    Thanks for the update Nicky.

Have never run at the big track at Taupo with timing on - so dunno the times sorry, - but they wont be miles away from a handy F2 bike time, as the track is quite a twisty turny thingy aye & the small bike gets thru the turns pretty well. Glen
