    I'm gonna race!

Well, I thought I'd never ever go on a race track after my accident(not bike related), but after a few years and getting use to my R1, I am ready to go back on. Found a cheap bike to convert to a race bike and so the project has started.
Got the bike yesterday(first pic) and today, myself and Uncle B has started to strip it for the big tuneup(second pic). Not even started racing yet but having so much fun already just playing around with all the bits.

So I don't know to much about all the racing regulations so will appreciate all the help and advice I can get...just anything on what works better and all the rest of it.

So will see all you guys out there next season to join in on all the fun.

Thanks Uncle B for all your help thus far..your a legent man!

oh yeah...I will be selling all the road parts/fairings of the GSXR400, so PM me if anyone want anything.

That's awesome, congrats!! Keep us informed with your progress.
It's amazing how things can be taken apart so it just looks like a pile of rubble and then the satisfaction of putting it all back together again and to be able to use it again!

Holy Crap Darkman......all I told you to do was pull the air filter & have a look at the plugs.

It's good fun. We'll have her ready to race in no time........umm, I think

The real fun part is yet to come......putting her back togeather
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy

Can anybody tell me where to get hold of a kill type switch to replace my ignition switch. looking for the one that cuts out when rider falls off.
Plus where is a good place to get second hand parts from..I've been trying the Bucket and bits guy, but they are not replying.

Good work that man!! Just watch for people passing on the right (I promise that will NEVER happen again)...

I thought buckets and bits went out of business?
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Great to hear you're going racing mate, it's a huge buzz and I wish you all the best. For bits and advice about racing your GSXR, you could always PM Mitch, she races one and has a heap of spares etc.
