Which police force to join?

Looking at joining up for the cops and tossing up between staying here or moving over to aussie. Just looking for other peoples opinions (preferably people who actually know something) about the advantages of each force/country in general.

So, post where and why you think i should go

PS. Looking at becoming dog squad/search and rescue and eventually detective down the track.
PPS. I won't give you speeding tickets on your bike and applaud any wheelies i see

Oz - much better career prospects etc, the stndard of living in Oz is higher and I'd fully expect the Aus cops to be paid more.

Apart from that... NZ all the way!

I voted NZ, we need more cops, more than they do!

Mine was a completely selfish response.

Please stay home and help, all we need to do then is shoot most of the bloody judges and spring clean the law society!

Our police are really let down by the above groups, over all. (IMHO)

If you want to become a detective then you'd be looking at oz.

From what I've seen of the police force over here there don't seem to be many detectives, perhaps the chief of police is dyslexic and thought we needed more detectors

You can make better money in Aus, the cops there are much better at taking bribes, running protection rackets and I think accidently shooting people gets you promotions! (im kidding, mostly)

You may need to spend some time with skinheads just in case your not racist enough for there standards.

One thing I will never miss about Aussie is their cops. They are alot better than what they used to be. It got to the stage they had to recruit cops from outside the nation to get clean ones they could give top jobs to as the rest were bent.
