I like the red gpx, not to keen on the yellow. I can't stand the tribal flames though.
In the latest Motorcycle Trader mag I saw a 2007 gpx with the triangle green flag with "kawasaki" inside it on the side of the bike, I thought that looked pretty awesome. Gave it a bit of a cultural flare (I love my kwaka green hehe) rather than generic trible flames.
I called Spectrum today to confirm the price drop so I could consider what to do regarding my insurance. From the sounds of it this isn't a permenant drop, more like a marketing ploy over the winter months - when the 250cc sales generally drop off and the price will almost certainly go back up come summertime.
So anyone who wants a cheap commuter and has some cash can buy one and sell it for the same price in 6 months?
Doubt it would work so well in practice tho.

local car mag did a recent test on this bike and obtained a 0-100kph time of 6.8 secs - meaning you'll easily out accelerate most cages. Looks like really good value compared to the Suzuki GSX250.
...and I don't wanna die, just want to ride my motorcy...cle (Arlo Guthrie)
does anyone elses gpx wobble when you let the handelbars go?? must be out of ballence or something.
i love my ninja i was totaly gutted when the bike shop got another one in the same colour.

I also saw a Honda 250 for a two grand less than original price. Was in one of those free auto trader type mags. Made it $4995, brand new. Was the CBF or something, not the VTR or Hornet.

Back on a 250 and riding more than ever.
Do these bikes have progressive springs? Some older Kwakas were known to dive under heavy braking, a problem easily fixed by installing progressive springs.
Delusionz one goes down like a hooker before dole day! The one I sat on at Spectrum was very firm tho so matbe they are being assembled differently by different shops? or some places are aware they are a bit soft and sorting that before they send them out.
