Warm Kiwi, overnight Saturday 1 September 07

This, the 4th Warm Kiwi, is an overnighter for the girls, tarts, sheilas and colleens. It's a weekend for the guys to play in their shed at home if they don't go to the Cold Kiwi, while we kick up our knees at Awakeri Hot Springs.

If you are interested in participating then make up a four and book a cabin at the Awakeri Hot Springs SH 30 RD 2 Whakatane, ph 07 3049117. Just say you are part of the Warm Kiwi group.

The ride begins from the Drury BP Auto Centre on the southern motorway departing at 8.45 - 9am Saturday 1st September. If you wish to dawdle down and stop on the way that's fine however the ride will go directly to Awakeri so that we can enjoy the facilities. If you are coming from other than Auckland then form a group and meet us there or contact me if we can meet you on the way. We travel from Auckland to Waihi then Te Puke to Whakatane. We come home via Matamata stopping there for lunch.

A van is going with us and a seat is $30 return. If you wish to book a seat then phone Shelagh on 09 2638565.

Activities and trivia are organised for your entertainment.
Food - it's a pot luck shared evening meal and byo breakfast.
It works brilliantly but if you have any questions just ask.

Don't forget your togs as the hot pools are wonderful.

hehe so true. Just buy one o those inflateable spa pools, and a little generator and you can be the envy of all the cold kiwi's
or portacom, and get a little home away from home for the weekend.

Anyhow, you will all be there thinking "cold kiwi, damn thats a much better name"
