Most of you never met him but he was a KBer, and a very skilled rider. Riding however is not what killed him.
He died of a suspected heart-attack at home, at the age of 47.
He is survived by a wonderful partner and 2 beautiful children under 3 years, who were his reason for living and greatest joy.
He was also my friend and taught me how to ride a motorbike, how to throw a knife, bait a hook, set a trap, snap bones and a million other things that I don't remember at the moment. He was a kind and gentle man who would help anyone if he could and gave his time willingly and with great patience for those who needed it.
Goodbye Steve, godspeed brother, I will do everything I can to help and protect your precious children and partner.
I am devastated.
The world is a poorer place today.
