I think it said 'first in, first served' at the start of the thread so lets leave it at that huh?

Perhaps next time the beds can be allocated to those who register first so everyone will know where they stand (or lie) right from the start. I mean, it's gotta be a pain lugging a tent up and back 'just in case'.

Oakie's got it right that's the way it should be this time IMHO. In fact preference should be given to those who went last year.

This is true, we christened the initial southern KB get together and instigated this event and most likely will the following ones as well so there should be a preference

The sentence in the very first post said "As for the beds.. it will be, find your bed when you get there! First in first served"

So basically that means.. those that get there first.. on the Friday are gunna be the ones that get beds..

of the 31 names on the list.. only 11 so far are original members from last year.. some have made no comment so far.. & some may not know if they can make it this year till very late in the piece..

The other point is.. if a member from last year brings their partner this year.. does that partner then qualify for a bed????? & then another kb'r who WAS there last year.. misses out on a bed... do you see how messy it can all get!!?? I sure as hell ain't gunna try & sort it all out & allocate people to specific beds.. in specific cabins with specific people.. ya's can just bloody well fight it out on the day!!!!

I say.. stick to the original post.. "As for the beds.. it will be, find your bed when you get there! First in first served" the rest tent it!!!

    So there!!!!

Don't think you'll catch me owning one of those! A sports tourer (which is near enough to a rolling sofa anyway ) maybe, like a VFR750 or GSXF Katana... but not a two wheeled lounge!! C'mon, I've got standards y'know...
