I heard you were a bit under the top on friday night... falling over and suchlike

Ah well, had a bloody beaut time away, really good having that extra day to just cruise up to Nelson, good weather after we got out of chch. I love that piece of road after Springs, and hardly any traffic either which makes for a fun blat. Friday night was tops, the band was excellant, and the company was ... interesting, I'm still wondering about that 'schnauzer' bloke tho skirtstergal, what an odd one!
Saturday we cruised over to Takaka, man that hill is a fun piece of road... it seems to just go on and flippin ON. Then back to the rally site in the arvo to watch the entertainment as well as wait for the saturday lot to arrive, which they eventually did, altho they did loose a couple of riders along the way, and got a slap on the wrist for it when they did arrive.
Saturday night we had a bit of rain to contend with so it was... in the marquee, out of the marquee... in the marquee, out of the marquee...
But the highlight of the night just had to be the bodybuilders after the wet Tshirt comp... OMG, I dont really know if I wanted a front row seat but I certainly got it! It was... INTERESTING and novel, and good luck to them at the world champs
Sunday woke to some misty drizzle cloud, not sure what to expect... whiteout over the wangamoas and then perfect thru to Blenheim where the norwester kicked in. Ah well at least it wasn't raining and it was a sidewind. Picked up some hitchhikers along the way, of the small metal variety, so one VFR with fresh bit a brown goopy stuff in the tyre at Blenheim and that was good to go. The other made it back to chch luckily.
Managed to stay out of the laws sights for the weekend, so all in all an excellant weekend. Lets do it all again in 3 weeks for the Magpie huh?

Tho some of us have another rally and tiki tour to get thru first, roll on the Buellbabes & co mid sth lsland tour to the Buell Rally in St Arnaud next week

Awesome weekend, 1200kms over three days on some of the best roads in the country, suspect associates, lots of alcohol, lack of sleep....

    Highlights:
    - the roads, the roads, Lewis Pass, Rahu, Buller Gorge, Takaka, Rai, Hundalees, all great.
    - SVBoy not able to cope with standing for extended periods of time
    - Two Italians, One German and running repairs to the.....German
    - Dinner and breakfast, thank you Watties
    - Beans, beans, and beans...

    Lowlights:
    - The noise of the Griso with the CF can, how offensive!
    - The band on Sat evening, really, really bad
    - The road from St Anaud to Renwick, people complain about the Canterbury plains

    Bring on the Magpie.

Shreks GS wasn't running right on the way into Blenheim so we took unbolted the tank and tried to figure out was was going on. Thought it might have the fuel lines getting squashed but not that simple unfortunately.

Talking Ferking rain and wind....but hip hip horay to the Rally

    Hey Dudes, and Dudess's

What a fantastic weekend. I left 6pm on Wednesday and drove through horizontal rain, through to the Hasst, even so, it was eery as dusk was pulling in, and the trees along that way, coooor was like the Tree scene in Lord of the rings, still had my guardian angel keeping a watch on me, and got there okay, booked into the Haast hostel, scrounged a tin of soup and woke up the next day, with my bike gear and boots on.....must have been knackered.

Thursday, the sun just shone in the Hasst, so plugged in my MP3 player again, (thanks to IDB for the recording) and rocked all the way there, ky legs were off those pegs and tapping along to some of the tunes, but IDB some of your music was just yurk..... and guess what? I got to 150kph,,,,,,,,,yee har and not even a change of knickers afterwards, then felt quite happy cruising along at 120 - 130, noticed the petrol not going as far tho Had my lunch, a la noodles on the beach and watched a couple of dolphins basking in the sea not too far away, awesome, 2nd time on that beach second sighting of Dolphins there......well cool.

Spent Thursday night in a wonderful cammpsite in Murchison, fed the ducks with my savoury rice, they nestled down and where still there with their alarm call to wake me up in the morning!!!!!and a frigging goose appeared as well........"If I could talk to the animals

I love the ride into Nelson, well twisty and getting to bend into them a bit more, although had a couple of heart flutters as well, when the corner ran out on one occasion!!!!!!!!!

The staircase into Nelson continues to spellbind me, felt like I had to untwist my body at the end of it.......

The entertainment was fantastic, espcially the Friday night in the tent, its all the better when its contained in a smaller place as everyone mixes more and chats and dances, the Christchurch possy and I got absolutely wankered and sat doing not a lot on Saturday with dark glasses on...

I do however although I agree the heavy rock bank on Saturday could have done with a couple of different tunes, as they were amusing enough when they were playing.....

And rashika, just to make you jealous, I spent 20 mins after the bodybuilding competition chatting weights, diets and drooling, whilst they cooled down wearing nothing but a towel no bigger than a flannel!!!!! god I loved watching that, my eyes were out on stalks chick!!!

Can we have them every rally please, after all there are more of us chicks going now, and the guys get the strippers, so why can we have some meat to look at eh.

Rode with my CC mates back to Hamner Springs, fuck its great to ride with a group, pushes your speed up a bit.....then rode onto Raikia for the night, and again passed out on a bed in a cabin waking up with my motorbike boots on.

Now for that fucking wind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Nearly got blown off my bike so many times, and in the end looked at the road through the gap in my speedo and rev counter, I was leaning down out of that frigging wind, and it sodding well stayed all the way to Queenstown, and thank you to wanky cromwell for the gail force winds which ensued all the way home,

All said and done though, what a fantastic weekend, Elvis btw was fantastic.....and the magic show was just magic, apart from the gormless chicks.

One more thing, why the chuffing heel, was a stripper allowed to enter the Wet T shirt competition, it should be for bikey chicks only.......

Thats all for now folks, see you at the magpie,,,,,,and ho hum I now need a new rear tyre, only kinda worn out the middle though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I'm gunna hug ya, and squeeze ya, and call ya George!" "Spread the smile and watch it come back at cha" x

Thank you to those who came to the Garstonian Rally 2009, heads up for the 2010 Rally.......
