My bad - I gave the 'post' PCIIIr HP figure.

    Standard was 117HP.

    15% of 140 is 21 = 119HP........that's not bad eh ?

Even if the dyno is not accurate when compared to the calculations, it appears like it is, which isn't much help really but............... it looks good.

That depends....I rode past your 130bhp 749R on our 2003 100hp (at that point) ZX6-RR...in a straight line...and I have video footage of it....Real, corrected HP??

Im pissing into the wind here arnt I...?
The Dukes are good, but they Don't have the poke of a Jap four. They are easy to ride, very easy, and very quick round corners. Provided you dont have a Jap fastbike plonked in front of you. With a bit more weight you need to 'moumentum' ride, and be on the throttle at lots of lean, use the extra feel and grip at the exit. This is where they become hard to get the most out of.

They are a great bike to put a qualifying lap on, and damn hard and frustrating to race!
And they really suit they way i ride....I LOVED haveing that 748R for a few rounds, but it was slow enough that it ended in tears....able to lap at leaders pace, and slow enough to get trapped in 15th..

Oh yea, at levels, on the tight track, I finished a best of 6th, right behind Sam, Craig, the aussies, and Stroudy.

I qualifed 6th at Ruapuna, the next round, but in the races got stuck round slower riders, who had fast bikes, down in 15th. That was also a tight track. I can only fear what it would have been like at Puke, or paticully Manfeild, with no fast corners to give it an andavntage, but lots of acceleration... :S

Wank wank wank, live in the now young fella, it happened, it's in the past, move on.

You're on the new inline four, so the power output of the Duke is kinda a mute point to you now...unless of course, it finds its way past ya

sorry to hijack a thread, but im looking at this duke, it has very high km (70 000) - is it worth it (im offering 5.5k as thats what he paid for it).

anyone know how much km it can do? will it be reliable? Its had the rings and head done at 60 000km.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
