Sounds like fun,.. I didn't turn up as it said Newbie Noob ride. I'm not the sort to keep below 7000 RPM :P

    That being said, Who's keen on a 250 W.O.T ride? By 250 I mean get on a 250 or don't show up

That effect achieved only after half a dozen bikers clambered down a 20 foot bank and picked it up...

Good ride, enjoyed the company and the size of the group.

Shame the only fishies caught were chocolate from the dairy! Saw a seal in the bay, cool - wildlife viewing and a bike ride, what more could I ask for.

Guy at the dairy warned us about the wild goats on the roads round there (heads up to anyone riding out that way). On the way back I counted 3 herds of the blighters (had just crossed from the looks of things).

Big thanks to Justin for organising and keeping the group together and well briefed. Thanks to Donor and Jeaves for a great day too - and great chatting with you other fellas (shit I'm bad at remembering names!). I remember faces mind - see you out there again.

Thanks to McJim for the guest appearance XXOO

    Take care ya'll

Agreed, it was a lovely day for a ride.

However, it was ruined in a few ways for me personally.

    Dodgy overtaking.
    Excessive speed cornering.
Unnecessary displays of bravado and bollocks.
Blatant disregard of sensible biking gear requirements.
Riding beyond capabilities for riders of lesser ability.
    Playing chicken with parked vehicles.
Dragging toes of SNEAKERS at 100kph.

I'll not be joining organised group rides for a while unless they are organised by myself, and will be invite by PM only.

Twice in 2 weeks I have had to scrape people up after basic and silly bins.

I don't get paid to do this shit on my own time, and while I have no issue in helping, it pisses me off that in 90% of cases it is completely avoidable.

Other than that, thanks to GI for the ride, Chickadee for the awesome job of TEC/Camp Mother, and to all those tht helped dragging a sick and twisted bike up a bank.

    thanks

I just wanted to give a quick post to say thanks to all riders in today’s ride. I had lots of fun, a special thanks to the organizers and any one that helped in the retrieval of breakaway's bike from the rocks. Especially to the man who stopped in the Ute and the man who came with the trailer.

Hope to see you all out there on a ride soon.

What a day! , the weather was great considering the look of the clouds. Some nice riding was had by most. No fish were caught , maybe next time eh.

Thanks to everyone who came along and to Justin for organising the ride.
Cheers to Chickadee for TEC and Doner for looking after Breakaway.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Actually, for the 11 of us there, I think it qualifies as 'our' bin... you had the easy part, it was the other schmucks that did the hard work!

Its only fair if someone is being a muppet to be told off. It only a joke until someone really bites the dust.

Also it is really annoying to have to pickup bikes every weekend.
