    Charles Stross

    I dont have a book so am stuck in this out of it place. help me escape!

    finished reading last of some books by charles stross. hate sci-fi but absolutely loved all his stuff. anyone got any other authors to recommend before i lose the plot?

    Do a thread search. There's one on books here somewhere. Failing that

    try THE HISTORIAN by Elizabeth Kostova. Vampire book with a difference. Brilliant.

    In the past few months I have enjoyed:
    The Light Ages by Ian MacLeod.
    Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson, similar to Stross, kinda.

    yeah blown away by accelerando. Crypto brilliant too (hated his later trilogies though). will try mr macleod. cheers bro!
