    KGA 1400 Concours accessories

Kawasaki Genuine Accessories have released a few goodies to go with 1400 Concours

Had a quick look at a document that was sent to us at work yesterday and Kawasaki have started supplying extras for the Concours

    1) Top boxes 2 sizes (39lt) & (26lt) (I think from memory)
Top box outer casing with integrated brake lights (colour matched etc)
    2) Pannierbox liners/daypacks
    3) High rise fairing blade (70mm taller)
    4) Riding suits (Two piece, cordura etc) colour matched
    5) Key ring (pewter, shaped like the bike)

Will check what prices were on Monday vaguely remember the top boxes start at $279, fairing blade roughly the same sort of price, & key ring was $14.95

Awesome. Thanks for posting this - shop wasn't really able to help me with top-box info. Well keep an eye out for the prices.

Thanks TWR i got a fax from AFC the other day, they knew i was going to be looking for a top box Heres the list

    Pannier bags $199 each
    Stelvio rider pants $325
    Stelvio Touring jacket $350
    1400GTR Key ring $12
    Tank pad $95
    GPS bracket no price listed
    Comfort Gel seat $998
    U lock $180
    Top box 39 litre $365
Colour matched cover for top box $279
    Protective film set $69
High screen (approx 70 mm higher $364

The seat is something i think i will purchase as soon as it is available as it is approx 30 mm lower than the standard seat which means for me my feet maybe able to sit flat on the ground when i come to a stop
The top box by the time you buy the colour cover is very expensive and in my opinion the protective film strip should be standard with the bike
GPS bracket is going to be a must for me at least, with a radar detector on it maybe my license may stay with me for a couple more months

What about the key ring - cool man! Have sent an email to Givi to ask about mounting kit for my V46 topbox - it's bigger than the Kwaka one (and I've already paid for it).

Thinking about a radar detector too...

PS: latest Two Wheels has Concours in it.

Make ya car/house keys look sexy?

You can tell I haven't been out on the bike enough yet - forgetting small details like that. Is it the weekend yet?

Checked out that site - topbox looks like it's a Givi anyway - pretty fugly though...

That looks like a Satantune. Check out the Two Brothers Racing site www.twobros.com. Their mufflers look great and sound fantastic!

Are Kawasaki providing self-inflating tyres yet?

    Still working on them
Gotta take it back in tomorrow to have a new sender put on the rim seems that they are very fragile and may have been damaged by an unsuspecting motor cycle mechanic Thank god for warranties seems that the part alone is $300

Posted some links to accessory screens which seemed to get lost in the crash the other day:

Before the crash someone put in a good word for the CeeBailey one...

    Gonna get a pipe Meanie?

The Concours we sold came in for it's 1000km service today, the owner is as happy as a sandboy with it, though he says he hasn't come to grips with the handling yet he's just been toodling around the district on it (
a few twists under the alps then plenty of straights anywhere else:slap and hasn't even stretched it's legs yet. And coming from a ZZR11 would be an adjustment in it's self
Reckons he might size up a seat for it though
