Gezzz Amit, sorry to hear about the crash.

Least you had some good guys and girls there to help you out, Donor must be getting quite acustomed to these happnins'. Justin will be able to help you out Im sure, his bikes been down a hill too hasnt it?

Is it time to police rides, making sure licences are correct, bikes have regos and WOF and everything is legal....(just winding people up).

Thanks for the advice guys. I deserve the flames.

It was my own douchebaggery that caused that bin. I has just hit home that this could have happened when I was alone, and / or I could have ended up on those rocks.

Reason I bought the 400 was it was shit cheap. I could never afford the 250 version. After doing research, I found that the CBR400RR only put out 10hp more than the CBR250RR. So I came to the conclusion that it wasn't that big a step up and I'd be alright.

Thanks again guys for all the help and advice. Especially McJim and Donor. Important thing is, I've learned my lesson.

Hey good to see you're up and about, hope things aren't hurting too much - I've been there and done that so I know how it feels and can speak about it!

Don't worry about the bike, thank karma it took the hit for you and you get to walk away. In the end, we all just want to ride our bikes safely (if you are sensible) and still enjoy the odd blat here and there... safely.

Hope the olds don't get down too hard on you and you can sort out your options later when you've got a bit of a breather!

He doesn't need to get shit from his olds - we gave him enough on this thread and others.

I resisted the temptation to come over all patriarchal in the car coming home. Saved my comments for things like:

    How's your vision?
    Any headaches?
    Any dizziness?
    Cracked ribs?

I thought these comments might be more useful than "Told you so."

A wee birdie told me someone was in a hurry to pass others....

*Sigh* Ban overtaking on future 250 rides, its hard enough for learners to keep 100 and focus ahead, let alone having to worry about others burning up beside them

The one that gets me is when you warn a rider of how much a plonker ,you and others have noticed him riding like, and how passing more experienced local riders on the wet over blind crests and corners is a silly idea you get red repped and moaned at in threads. 20Ft tall Bullet Proof Carl Fogartys seem to exist all over the place.

Hence the formation of smaller groups within KB of those who trust each other.

Glad you are alright breakaway (I was wondering why your bike ain't at uni). The photos look pretty scary on the rocks. Damages look cosmetic and spanner night can sort the repairs.
