    Bucket racing AU style

    Hiya guys n girls,

found this link from the folks that I used to race with in Aussie. They call it Motolites and Superlites over there now, but still all great fun for the garage enthusiast. The racing is from Wakefield Park near Goulburn which is about 30 mins north of Canberra... great little track that is too small for Superbikes, but great for our racing. Enjoy.

You'd never guess who they were talking to when they got bucket racing started in Oz. It used to be called bucket racing, they even had an organisation to sort out rules and stuff called Bucket Racing Association or BRA. I sent over some photos from a meeting we had on the waterfront in Wellington with a sidecar in it. That got them going, for a bit. They certainly got into it later on and finally sorted out the politics. They have quite a different style of buckets brought on I think by nearly always running on the big tracks.

Neat bucket track and a good field of bikes. Some of the 4-strokes sounded pretty crisp.
