Man - I wish my wife was into bikes, don't get me wrong I think she's a great gal, fantastic mother to my ankle biters, but she hates motorbikes!
I thought I'd share this advert with you all - sort of sums it up for me.
Lifes Just one big ride - buckle up or hang on
Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I got back into riding earlier this year and the wife is so keen she wants to come for rides on the back. So we just bought her a new jacket and helmet.
I feel sorry for the guy selling the bike.
My EX wife isn't into bikes all that much![]()
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
I'm one of the lucky ones too. Although she hates bikes and wil never get on one she's keen to let me do what I want. When K6K mentioned Superbike School in November she looked into airfares for me. She wants to come shop in Melbourne.... guess I can live with that!!
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."
Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

My wife is the one without a car license. She was into bikes before we got married. She's had a 600 Hornet for a few years now after we decided the CB250 was a bit small for Hamilton and back every week. I'm itching to join here on a bigger bike but I'll have to wait until my pocket grows (the GN's great around town though).

My wife isn't the slightest bit interested in bikes, Which is fine by me, Its my time, and she would just bitch and moan about near-death experiences and what not.
Can't say I have ever even thought about discussing the money aspect of it with her, I had bikes before I met her, Can't imagine a time when I don't have at least one. Hell, I have to work damn near every day for the rest of my life and if someone/anyone tried to stop me owning a bike I'd be just a tad hostile, It would be a short sharp discussion.
Besides, I could probably just kill her 2 mongrel cats to save a few dollars, whats cat food and vet bills for 12 years?
