Well i'm happy to report my bike now purrs like a kitten.

Not without a few hassles i'll add though. used to have a high idle, still did after carb strip and thorough clean - soon as i took it for a ride I'd come to a stop and it'd be nearly on 3k! wind it back down, next set of lights same deal.

Had me mighty confused that was until i was diagnosing another problem (backfiring and intermittent loss of decent power) and checking fuel mix and idle and when revving it out i noticed the flipping remote idle adjust screw rotating on it's own!

A quick tighten of the ziptie the previous owner had it on saw it perfect, and my newly installed fuel filter after the carb rebuild i quickly noted was only 1/3rd full and not even on an angle for fuel to reach the carbs! talk about running lean.

Re routed the fuel lines under the carbs to drag the fuel filter downward and no more backfires, all 4 cyls all the time. haha what a muppet. So glad i've got the idle fixed, had me massively confused and annoyed.

Would pull me along at 20km/hr ffs haha.
