i got a vj22 damaged but the engines swt jst put 2nd hand crank and bearings in it from a 250rs if you want i can send you some pics

erm. . . VJ23 is the Jap only 70 degree jobbie, I've only ever seen one. RS250s only used the VJ22 I thought.

VJ23 is hens teeth, you'd have to get an importer to bring one in.

Yeh I think importing is going to be the only option. I can get one from oz, but it's pretty pricey.

Is the whole engine poos? or does it just need a replate & valves? At least with a rebuild you aren't buying an engine that is about to go pop as it's been sitting around for the best part of a decade in a humid Japanese warehouse.

The one I saw was a Strike replica, very Droolworthy!

Yeh good point. Yeh mines a lucky strike replica. I was going to sell it, but I think I'll just hang on to it, until I can afford to get it rebuilt.
