Cool - we have popped a poll onto the thread... just to give us an idea of how many people are coming.

I will do a calendar event later to register your attendance.

It's only fair we let each of the venues know how many people they can expect... there is a big difference between 20 and 120 people

I have no idea where in New Zealand we will be around that time - we quit Auckland on or after 5th October....still no nearer to knowing where we're going yet.

Hello, so does KB start and end in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch?

What about Dunedin and Invercargill, or is anywhere South of Christchurch not in NZ?

Even Timaru and Oamaru?

KB is spreading to the lower reaches slowly but spreading and building non the less. Just making the point!

oldrider i am sure if you want to orginze one for somewhere south of chch, for southerns that can't get to chch, go for it.

Yeah c'mon people! Just do it! I wish I lived further away so I could ride there longer! I'm sure there will be plenty of long way 'round's! Far west via North, Hibiscus coast then a crew to the bar style.

And to the complainers, if your drinking a hostel bed is cheap in comparison. That is if your too scared to ask another KB'er for a patch of floor but crashing at someones place you don't know is how I've met some of my best friends around the country. DO IT!

Sounds like a good plan. How about if you're riding to another city from one of the cities ie. you live in Auckland and are going to the Welly one, maybe people could do a house swap, solves accommodation probs and you get your house and pets looked after too. Just a thought.
