Dead shock - cheap solution? Suzuki RF900

    Hi folks

I have a 1997 Suzuki Rf900R that has a knackered rear shock (riding at the moment could be likened to riding on a baremetal rear rim!). Being a cash-strapped student I am trying to fix this as inexpensively as poss...

    Two questions:

    1. Can the RF fit a rear shock from any other bikes?, therefore increasing my chances of finding a used one.

    2. Any recommendations on who to seek for repairing my old one and approx price assuming I can remove it and courier it off?

    Thanks fellas!

Colemans rebuilt mine way back when... errr. for $350 I think? Did a good job too, seals etc replaced.
$2,000 cash if you find a buyer for my house, kumeuhouseforsale@straightshooters.co.nz for details

I dont know if anyone up there can repair them. You will have to hit up a few bike stores to find out.

I've got a spare one at my place that Colapop has been meaning to get put in his.

Talk to him about it. Maybe he might be interested in flicking it off.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
