Ah yes, that wasn't Nobras, it was a a guy who just tagged along for awhile. Did the TEC on the way home and got some great footage all the way from Shannon to home. Cowboyz and I were overtaking a long line of cars, when who should appear in the opposite direction, yep the lol. Don't think he could be arsed turning around. Really sorry we missed you

That was a little play around teaser. There is some really good footage on my computer right now. Might take a few days to do the editing.

I have another video of greens road. Very very interesting to see the difference is *trying* to ride fast and relaxing and riding at pace. The other video has WAY better riding in it but it is in the big file from Shannon so requires alot more editing. Hopefully will get it up this week sometime.

Went for a ride with the Napier crew on Saturday, phew that was a pretty fast paced ride I have to say, R-Dog and a young fulla who's handle i'm not sure of rode a pretty mean pace but they were doing it easy, paid particular attention to R-Dog on a section when we were on the return trip when I got the chance to get near them (only coz they would get caught up behind the odd car) and it looked to me like he was just phoning it in!
But my point is we did the road to Wairoa and R-Dog was videoing it but it kept turning off on him so I don't think he got too much footage which is a shame.
I think you should set aside a day (maybe Easter weekend?) go up there and video on that road coz it's absolutely premium as i'm sure you're probably aware. Even if you guys don't I might do it that weekend if it's fine and go all the way to Gisborne as i've never been there.

As I said i'll be aiming to do it again soon, might even try to sort it out as a locally based ride (Manawatu) either on Easter weekend or a random weekend might be better because of the heavier traffic on the long weekend.

The young fulla is 'Speights'bud' Gixxer for eva's son riding G4E's 750.
He races bikes, and with Rob and the way his bike is set up now and his track day experience, those 2 sure can set a cracking pace.

Excellent road, and the cafe we go to at the end a few km from Wairoa is superb.
Might head up that way over the long weekend too.
In fact I'm sure some from the bay will too.

You just let us know when you are thinkig of coming thru. We can do a ride thru to Gisbourne. You pretty much saw all the tight and twisty stuff then the road opens up and its just great. The down fall of riding that road thru the week is the amount of Logging trucks. Although the turn off before the Mohaka viaduct. So the weekends and holidays are the best.
Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

I got some footage but it will take some time to up load it. Camera shakes aroung a bit so i will have to secure it a lot better. Im not gonna edit it as i dont wont to sit in front of the computer all week. So i hope i will have it up later.

i like editing video. if you dont want to upload the whole thing then just write down a few timestamps (I want 1:06-4:07 taken out) and send me the file on cd and I will edit it for you.

That road to Gisborne is awesome, even in the rain. I really enjoyed that part of my holiday. Nice twisties, great views.
