Bugger,bastard,and bitch.What a great ride it's turning out to be,with great weather.Scenery is brilliant,looks good from the air palmy to queenstown,but when cruising up middle of Sth island it does impress,hence the campervans.Hard to watch the road at times with lakes,mountains to view.

Day ride to Gisborne on either the weekend of june the 5th or 6th, if the weather does'nt play ball, the following weekend of the 11th or 12th.

Shes up and about this morning with a black and blue butt and smiling.
The bike was a loaner from her Sister in law, and it was immaculate and on a genuine 7500km on the clock. Not many CBR250r's like that left in the world.

However, smiles all round now as the officer rang this morning with news the driver was FULLY insured and is being done for careless driving. New bike time for them and new gear (with more armour everywhere) for Lis.

Rotten thing to happen! Glad she's ok realitively speaking. Bit of a silver lining perhaps, go check out the $450 leather jacket rack at PT's, save you some money so you can spend it on something else.

Congrats on your passing the test,can the dickhead who caused accident be liable for your out of pocket expences for the test,shit not her fault she was late.Tell the testing place your circumstances,they may be nice and give another slot for free,then still tell the dick you want money for the test anyway.The insurance company hopefully won't muck around for you or the owner.

Bugger! Sad to hear about lissa's accident but hopefully she's got some decent painkillers and the swelling goes down quickly. Bit of lukc having a copper there to book him and an ambo on hand. Best of luck getting sorted with new gears and the next round of the test. Might have to have an escort keeping an eye out next time!!

Another good ride today.
Meet up with chancey,Sinfull,grub,nasty and Gary at Ashhurst. Off to dogs 'n phebs for a cuppa then on to Mangaweka for a late late lunch.

Chanceys bike lost a circlip for the gear change, which was sorted with some lockwire and Sinfulls bike needed a cut 'n tuck to sort out a cracked fuel hose. Perfect timing the see the train to cross viaduct I must say. Hey, what's a KB ride without some little dramas.

A tad bit of pee gravel from Dogs to the Apati T intersection.

Got home and had cold bath to cool down, a feed and some nice cold beers.

Life is good...................on a motocycle with skinny tires.

it was a great day for sure .. just what the good mood doctor ordered ..

brilliant weather, good roads (apart from the resealing, & the odd "tight" corner that was not posted

) & fab company .. wot more can anyone want

..

hmm yes well along with Betsy losing the sirclip just before dogs place .. just arrived home & popped her into first to negotiate the driveway & the clutch cable snapped

but hey at least it was right at the end of the ride & not out the boondocks .. sooooooooooooo its back on the trailer to palmy morrow & see if paul can work some magic .. hmmm & it must be time to take a bike or two out for a test ride

Well that was exciting .. my first manawatu ride and it was all on ... fantastic days guys ... you know how to put on a good ride .. and of course lots of thrills with it ... I am sure the Grub will do a ride report (cos he likes them) - thanks for the day
