Well for what it's worth, I've got my reg and wof stuck inside my eliminator, so you have to bend down to see it. I keep it clean so it's visible and I've also been stopped at a checkpoint for a reg-wof check. I pointed to where the cop could find it, but he couldn't be bothered. He said "I'll take your word for it, bye".
The law says it has to be as close to the licence plate as possible and clearly visible. Mine is if you're lying on your back!
