I'm no expert on gloves, but after having to wear three pairs last winter and still suffering I'm going for heated grips too. They're just over $100.00 , you can't get a decent pair of gloves for that.

By all means, and don't feel pressured to keep up either, enjoy the ride and we'll catch you at turning points and so on but as Yod said it's not a particularly complex route.

Sorry mate, i've kinda opened my mouth already.
Chose saturday because it gives us a day to play with if the weather was too flash saturday.
Monday will be another good squirt out to catch up with Sandra on her way back from the Gut buster rally.

    nifty aye

I used to have a spare pair of goretex/goat skin ski gloves that were warm in all but arctic conditions but they were pretty thick - they didn't bug me but some people may not like that sort of bulk getting in the way of the 'feel' of their bars
do they do heated seats for both rider and pillion? lol

it has actually been suggested that it wouldn't be terribly difficult to jerry-rig some sort of set-up for the pillion, all you need is somewhere to mount the grips, it would have it's own controller, fuse, etc
