might be in for a ride next weekend - have another work booze-up next friday too, which involves 4-wheeled teams racing, so that should be a hoot - will be staying clear of the jager tho...a bit too drinkable

Things were going quite well until a small turn of the tides and she ended up on the back of the concours for a few ks and that set back the "sportsbikes are great for touring 2up" campaign back a few months.

i bet she didnt look half as good on the concours as you did tho....still kicking myself i didnt have the camera ready....

Sounds like a new bike you'll be needing,will give ya $1000 for the Daytona,and THAT'S my BEST offer.
Went into local shop yesterday to purve at a couple of bikes,a Bandit k5(2 of em),SV1000 07(3600km),Daytona(650?),will arrange a ride this saturday to try out the bandit and sv,maybe also the daytona.Ended up buying a neck warmer for she who must be obeyed,and sussing out pants for her.So after buying her stuff I hope to buy myself stuff,the sv gives a bloody good feel sitting on it,dreams.

Anyone got any short leg cordura pants x-xxl approx they want to sell?

Thanks for the offer Tony, I'd take you up on it, but I think you may be better off with the SV or Bandit for the two up work You really considering them, good stuff! Hope it happens soon. The Daytona 675 may be a bit small for 2 and they have quite a high seat so I'd go for the bigger ones.

Hey if anyone is not going to that track thingy next weekend is anyone keen on a ride somewhere ? maybe castlepoint and/or anywhere. Thought maybe 300ish km or there abouts. Fully open to suggestions, getting an itchy throttle hand ( no it's not hairy )

Bike is home with a few bits missing. Wrong bit here, wrong side there, but at least it's home. I'm off out to the shed to fit my warranty replacement taillight, re-skin my muffler and fit the new Sargent seat. Then I have a new fuel map to download from that nice man in Opunake, Kerry Wallis. I best go get busy!

I'm off out to the shed to fit my warranty replacement taillight, re-skin my muffler and fit the new Sargent seat. Then I have a new fuel map to download from that nice man in Opunake, Kerry Wallis. I best go get busy!

Sweet, you must be stoked

Well I was until I had a mishap with the drill, so it's just as well I know how to make defects disappear.
I'll take it for a run tomorrow night and try out the new fuel map, though it's been so long I've forgotten what the old one was like.
The seat looks good and is way lower than stock, but there's no longer room to carry my puncture repair kit.
