Should be able to cancel most of em, no point in pushing it. As they say, if you kill yourself because of weather, your funeral will be held on a sunny day!

Know what ya mean, brilliant day friday (if a little cool) and civil warnings on the weekend....arse!
A morning ride might be a goer but the problem this time of year the weather changes so freakin' quick, one minute ya got some sunnies on the next ya dodging hail!
I think i'll just shoot over to PT's and see what's up, be interest to see what the Ace goes for.
Be kinda sad to see it go, always give it the once over when i'm in the shop...

I'm really happy with the map Kerry did for my bike as well! Would I be correct in thinking you now have the TuneBoy key for your bike? If so, I have the USB cable you can borrow if you have something you want to check out or alter.
It'd be good to hear some feedback on your new Scott oiler when you clock up a few k's. It's something I may consider when mine goes for its 20,000k service to Kerry.

Gidday. Yes, I have the key and thanks for that, that could be interesting. The new tune has made a very noticeable difference, with a big increase in power starting at about 4500 rpm. It's a really smooth delivery too and continues right up the range. It sounds better as well, which is impressive given that the standard pipe is all about reducing noise due to emission and noise controls. Kerry could get a lot more out of it, but I'd need to invest in a perf pipe.

The Scottoiler. So far, it's doing a very good job, the chain just looks and feels in really good condition. I'd go for one, it will pay for itself quite quickly and figures of up to 2 - 4 times normal chain life are achievable. It's quite a sexy looking wee thing as well

Kerry's given me the usual CD record of the work, I'll post it up when I figure out an online gallery!

Roughly $300 fitted Sarge. You could do it yourself, but you do need to connect a vacumn source from your fuel system which may be fiddly.

going to have to have a closer inspection of yours. Meanie was talking about them the other day and I am so so about it to be honest. Be interesting to see how much of a extended life the chain gets and how well they work. I just got 18,000 out of my last one with very little maintance (read: I am a lazy arse who never oils his chain)

I'd probably go for the dual feed if I get one. The only thing that puts me off the oiler is the placement of the RMV. I don't really want a cylinder strapped to the side of my bike with electrical ties. Looks untidy!

Yeah i've always been a bit to and fro over them too, chain wax ai'nt that hard to put on every few hundred k's but I must admit it would be nice to not have to worry about it at all.
The chain and sprocket on the Ace are still in mint condition and they have done approx 20,000k so far and I have no reason to think the new owner won't get a fair amount of use out of them too.
I was told using a quality chain well maintained 30,000k should be easy enough and that I would say is bearing out on my old bike.
Paid a fair amount for the chain on that bike but it looks too be worth it too.

Feel free to inspect anytime. I was a bit iffy myself but curiosity got the better of me. I got 27K out of my last chain and sproket set and considered that quite good. So it the SO can give me 50K plus, it's gotta be a win win. (And besides, with the new tune, my chain will need all the help it can get )

I know what you mean. I had the same concern but it actually looks quite cool now. Most of the plumbing can be concealed.

Yep, quality is the key alright Sarge. I too paid a fair bit for my last chain and sprockets which is why I want to experiment with the SO. I think I'm going to be nicely pleased with the results if the condition of the chain so far is anything to go by
