Just poking my head in - Bikes for sale - anyone want a TRX that just needs someone to love it a little for cheap $$$? Bought a VFR700, off to Auck on Friday/Sat to pick it up.

I have a question for Al: How the heck'd you take the photo of the Auckland motorway? Did you have Sarah doing stunts on the back?

As I am playing online at lunch time I will answer for us

Me stunts

never.

I can manage photography from the back of the Daytona up to around 80k/hr or so. Many of the desert road pics were on the move

Above those speeds the wind wobbles the camera too much and it all blurs.

Much of the time 86 doesn't know what I am up to

but he did in Auckland because we were going slow enough to talk. We have chalked up quite a few k's together and he is such a smooth rider

I don't need to really pay attention to 86 or the road when I am on the back, just enjoy and go with the flow

As you will see from earlier comments, I have been so relaxed I have rarely even had a clue what direction we were going in so now having to study the maps

Congrats on new bike

Make the most of the trip back, some great roads and scenery, I was blown away by the whole experience last weekend and planning to get north again asap.

congrats on the VFR. DOnt tell Yod you brought one or you will never get rid of him. Road trip to ALKD huh? This sounds a little familar. Once again I have other plans or I would join you on the trip. Must be something in the water round here......

Sorry for encroaching.......... We have had a few enquiries for custom made earplugs from the Palmy area. I understand there is a Classic day at Manfeild on November 18th and if there is enough enquiry for us to attend to make earplugs, we will endeavour to confirm with the organisers. Cheers Sue

It was quite good seeing a Honda, Triumph and two Suzuki's in 86's garage the other evening, only a few more makes to squeeze in for the full set
