Looks and sounds like a damn good ride - ya lucky bastads lol. Oh well, can't ride em all I guess.

I think I'd better get a new set of tyres tomorrow as my rear is literally cracking up! I'm going for the new Pilot Power 2CT's. They're supposed to be the best thing in tyre technology for awhile. Also going to check out a pack rack as I have a feeling it will be needed soon

Great pics Yod, and love that one of the wheelie!

Oh yeah. Don't mention the 'Road'

It was soooo hard to turn back and head to the george when there was discussion about going the Castle point road but i managed to, next time
    Good pics as always Yod
Umm, by jove theres a good thought, Castle point..I vote for that ride sometime in the future. I have'nt done the road out to the point yet, been meaning to for ages but I always end up gravitating towards the Rimutaka's when I get down that way.

We're Back! Bloody brilliant. My post has vanished (as has everyone elses from the early hours of Monday), so to put it back on the agenda:
I am heading down to Welly on Saturday morning and are keen to take some back tracks on my way down, it'd be great if anyone would like to join me.

Planned route is over the track to Pahiatua, then either out to Alfreton, or the longer route out to Pongaroa (depending on group mood), then down 52 to Masterton, fill up, people who are still with me then out over the Gladstone Hill climb road (definately worth while if you haven't done it before), then down to Featherston, over the 'takas, and I'll continue on to Welly but anyone else can peel of and head over the Haywards and Paekok hill and head back up to Palmy.

I did originally say 8am start but I think a few people complained, in which case how about extending the time to 8.30 :-)? I don't want to be getting away late or I'll only be in welly for a few hours before coming home!

Jeez, all my pic's have disappeared I'm still undecided about what to do on Saturday, this sounds tempting tho.
