Cheers guys & gals! Sure beats the cost of new rotors! I've got the new (secondhand) calipers fitted, so they just need a bleed. Hell I could just about open a shop with all the spare parts I have.

yes, I have the speed bleeder. fucked if I could ever get it to work properly though. I have tried it a few times and keep going back to the true and tried way.

Just finished stripping my brakes and giving them a major clean and overhaul. Made absoutly no difference at all. Go figure. I would like to get them a bit better (read alot) cause that would save a dicussion with trackday scruinteers and WOF insurers. May look at a bigger master cyclinder.

Nearly all men can stand adversity and hard time, but if you want to test a mans true character, give him power....

What the hell is a speed bleeder? I only know of the ones that are permanently connected the the calipers.

Bigger should work! Only real difference now between mine and a 675 Daytona is the radial master cylinder.

it is a one way value to let you pump the brakes and air cant get back. connects to the bleed screw but very difficult to get it all hooked up without air leaks.

And you survived the trip. Lucky you missed that mess at Taupo. Like a bad movie. It's great that your mum's improving. The Redneck seems to be mellowing, me thinks. So what is needed to get you riding again?
