Leaving Palmy at 5am and gonna ride all day...

Im the same as cowboyz a bit close to dogs ride otherwise I would have been very tempted

Cheeky prick! ...........fair enough though, I will be there (Taupo) to check it out see Quasi just for interest sake and see Sue for some ear plugs but it's gonna be weather dependant for me. I might just shock the hell out of ya and turn up in Ashhurst at 4 mins past five! then again........

The Forgotton gravel is really no big deal. In fact, the worst part of it was getting the bikes dirty after looking so clean from the rain.

told you forgotten highway rocked huh? After we finish travelling all over the place I would like to do a forgotten highway/awakino/ 8 mile in a day. That would be a fantastic ride.

but for now we have Taupo this weekend, wellington next weekend, Gisborne the following weekend and then Hamilton the weekend after that so could be tidied up for a little bit.

Was talking to some guys at the Whanga pub,were saying the only thing wrong with the roads around Taranaki,unlike Palmy is we tend to go out and back same route,you guys can go out say vinegar hill and back maybe paraparas or other ways,more option of a loop run.We can do a loop but mostly around mountain,or say south to Palmy and areas,but come home still via sh3,mind you could go to Wanganui,paraparas,Taumaranui,forgotton highway and home,or up to Awakino and home forgotten highway.I feel a plan in motion,bad ,bad,naughty thoughts,cool.

Hope the Gixxer clip on's were straight enough for Sarah after our butcher skills at BP with coffee...

Nice piccies,almost see me smiling inside helmet,good to see you got home safely,rumour has it your next ride will be with sarah on the back about 4.45pm friday nov 9th around the square lol.Typical weather here,crap today till now,clearing up.Lucky with weather as just before we arrived in Whanga we got several spits,blew away and as pics show cleared up.

Cheers Tony, we had a clear run back, bit cold towards the end but dinner was worth it

I can neither confirm nor deny the 9th, although I'm wondering why Sarah is off to the tanning clinic and trying to get to 50 kgs lol (hope she doesn't see this)

Sarah may well have your guts for gaiters lol.. Do not comment on the tool hole on her bike... Sheesh, when I did I got it all terribly wrong and thought it was all over lol...

Needless to say, if your reading this Sarah, I have yet to find short enough plieers to fit in your whole ( on the bike) but I am sure I can sort something....

Yes, that tool hole is oddly located. I'm sure Honda knew what it was doing at the time tho. Besides, Honda's don't break down, they just fall to peices don't they?
